NFIB Announces 2012 National “Young Entrepreneur of the Year”: Oceanside, CA Teenager Recognized with $10,000 Scholarship
Catherine Mitchell of Oceanside, CA, has been named the 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Mitchell, the founder of Beauty 4 Life, a socially-minded business that sells jewelry handcrafted by Ugandan women, was awarded a $10,000 scholarship.
Five high school seniors have been selected to receive a $5,000 educational scholarship for their entrepreneurial endeavors. One of the five will be named the 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year, awarded a total scholarship of $10,000
In recognition of his work in becoming a leading seller of custom miniature skateboards in the United States, Dillon Morgan of Westlake Village, California, has been named the 2011 Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the National Federation of Independent Business Young Entrepreneur Foundation.
